Denture

Will it be obvious to others that I'm wearing dentures?

Not very noticeable. Modern dentures are made with gum-colored resin and artificial teeth that closely resemble natural teeth, so they are hard to distinguish unless someone is looking very closely. During fabrication, we match the color and arrangement to your face shape, skin tone, and previous teeth. However, dentures can be more visible when 1) the metal clasp of a partial denture sits toward the front, or 2) the denture has loosened and shifts while you talk. In those cases, you can ask us about repositioning the clasp or repair options.
