Denture
My denture has become loose and keeps falling out. Why?
The most common reason dentures become loose is jawbone resorption. As you wear a denture over time, the underlying bone gradually shrinks, leaving a gap between the inside of the denture and your gums, which weakens its suction. The artificial teeth can also wear down and throw off your bite balance, making the denture pop out more easily. In most cases, this can be corrected with a relining procedure that refits the inside of the denture, so rather than relying on adhesive, please visit us for an evaluation.
