Implant

Will a front-tooth implant be very noticeable?

Front-tooth implants are typically made to closely resemble your natural teeth, so they aren't very noticeable in daily life. We match the color and translucency of the crown to your neighboring teeth and, when needed, use a tooth-colored abutment to keep metal from showing through above the gumline. However, if 1) your gums are thin or 2) the bone in the front area has been significantly resorbed, gum grafting or bone grafting may be needed to recreate a natural gumline, so we'll build a treatment plan after a thorough diagnosis.
