Where should I store my dentures when removed for sleep?

After removing your dentures, clean them thoroughly and store them submerged in cold or lukewarm water inside a dedicated denture container. The resin material of the denture dries out in open air, losing moisture and warping slightly, and once warped it no longer fits your gums properly. Two or three times a week, soak them in a denture cleansing solution instead of plain water to disinfect them. However, never use hot water (it will warp the denture), and avoid wrapping them in tissue, since they are easily thrown away by mistake or damaged that way. Always use a proper storage container.
