How long does it take to make a denture?

If your gums have fully healed, a denture is usually completed in about 3-4 weeks over 4-5 visits. However, 1) if you have just had teeth extracted, we wait 2-3 months for the gums to heal before starting fabrication, and 2) if multiple try-in appointments are needed for a precise fit, the timeline can be longer. Even after the denture is delivered, a few follow-up visits for fine adjustments to the gums may still be required, so it is best to plan ahead with extra time, keeping things like meal schedules in mind.
