How long does implant surgery take?

For a single implant, the surgery typically takes about 30 minutes including anesthesia and preparation, and the placement itself can be as short as 5 to 10 minutes. However, the procedure takes longer when 1) multiple implants are placed at the same time or 2) bone grafting is performed together, and a full-mouth case requiring 13 or more implants can take more than 2 hours. Because the time varies significantly depending on the number of implants and the condition of your alveolar bone, we will give you an accurate estimate after CT diagnosis.
