How long should I wear clear aligners each day?

You need to wear them at least 20-22 hours a day for your teeth to move as planned. They should be worn at all times except during meals and brushing; if they stay out too long, the aligners may no longer fit your teeth and your treatment period can be extended. Aligners are usually switched to the next stage every 1-2 weeks. However, if an aligner feels loose or doesn't seem to seat all the way down, it may be a sign of insufficient wear time or delayed tooth movement, so please come in for a check.
