Implant

I heard implants are covered by insurance for those age 65 and older. How many are covered, and what is the cost?

Under the National Health Insurance, patients aged 65 or older can receive up to 2 implants in their lifetime with a 30% co-payment. There are conditions: 1) it applies only to partially edentulous cases (if you have no teeth at all, denture coverage applies instead of implants), and 2) coverage includes placement and the basic prosthesis; bone grafting, if needed, is not covered. We will confirm your eligibility in detail during consultation.
