How long does a veneer procedure take?

Laminate veneers are usually completed in 2 visits. On the first day, preparing the teeth and taking impressions takes 30 minutes to 1 hour, and about a week later, bonding the finished veneers takes around 30 minutes. Between the impression and the bonding appointment, we place temporary teeth so you can go about your daily life without much inconvenience. However, if many teeth are being treated, or if gum treatment or cavity treatment is needed first, the number of visits and the overall timeline may increase.
