Can I have all 4 wisdom teeth extracted in one day?

It is possible, but we usually recommend splitting the extractions into two visits — left side and right side. Pulling all 4 at once leaves both sides sore, makes eating difficult, and sometimes causes flu-like symptoms. Splitting them lets you eat on one side while the other heals. That said, we do perform all 4 extractions in one session 1) when an urgent deadline like military enlistment is coming up, or 2) when you want to finish everything at once under sleep (sedation) anesthesia. In that case, please prepare to eat soft foods like porridge for 2-3 days afterward.
