Is resin treatment covered by health insurance?

Resin fillings are covered by the National Health Insurance only for permanent teeth in children aged 12 and under (a National Health Insurance rule in effect since 2019). With coverage, your out-of-pocket cost is lower than for a non-covered filling. However, 1) baby teeth, 2) ages 13 and above, and 3) resin work on areas that are worn or fractured rather than decayed are not covered, so we will explain whether your child qualifies at the time of diagnosis.
