I use both a sensitivity toothpaste and a high-fluoride toothpaste. When in the day should I use each?

We recommend the sensitivity toothpaste in the morning and at midday, and the high-fluoride toothpaste before bed. The sensitivity toothpaste reduces sensitivity through the day, while high-fluoride toothpaste works best at night, when saliva flow drops so the fluoride stays on the tooth surface longer. After brushing with high-fluoride toothpaste at night, rinse only once lightly or just spit, so the fluoride stays and keeps working. However, for children under 6, discuss high-fluoride toothpaste with the dental clinic first.
