Should I floss before or after brushing?
It is better to floss before brushing. Removing food and plaque from between the teeth first lets the fluoride in your toothpaste reach those surfaces. What matters more than the order, though, is the habit of doing it at least once a day. If after brushing suits you better, doing it daily in that order is still good. However, if the same spot bleeds repeatedly when you floss, that can be a sign of gum inflammation, so have it examined.
