What should I do if I feel pain during treatment?
Do not endure it - raise your left hand right away. We stop treatment immediately and take the steps needed, such as giving more anesthetic. Anesthesia works differently from person to person, and heavily inflamed areas take it less well, so feeling pain during treatment is nothing unusual. Enduring pain makes your body tense, which makes treatment harder and only deepens your fear of dentistry. If your anxiety is severe, tell us before treatment and we will discuss comfortable options such as sedation (sleep) anesthesia together.
